The PRIVA-CTM Web Services allow your web applications to leverage our established privacy and security technical infrastructure. At PRIVA-CTM, web services are currently being developed for Microsoft .NET and soon J2EE.
About Web Services
The Internet is increasingly being used for system-to-system communication. The standardized interfaces used by these applications are referred to as web services. A web service is an URL-addressable component that systematically performs a function and/or returns requested information.
Web services are integrated in Microsoft’s .NET framework and support standards such as SOAP, WSDL, and UDDI. Web services for the Sun Java 2, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) framework are supported through APIs including JAXM, JAXP, JAXR, and JAX-RPC.
